OSAKA TO TOKYO:

People keep expecting miracles,
But I keep playing music,
Raining in Osaka,

She sits like stone,
Statuesque,
Perfect hands resting on her legs,
No fish in the water outside her window,
Only Purple Autumn flowers in the trees,
Green-on-Green,

Mickey’s hand holds a camera,
Dangling,
Ludicrous,
Across a shoulder,
Too crazy to take pictures,

Towers of industry,
Blind,
Pushing heads into clouds,
Clouds come down to the ground,
A fine mist,
Hissing,

Here comes the Black tea,
The answer to our prayers,
Morning,
Rain,
Warm rain,

A hand describing arcs in the air,
Plucks laughter from a Pink dress,
Too much morning perfume walks past,
The morning paper,
Shooting missiles
