Lost & exposed,
Concealed in skin & clothes,
Slips into Autumn,
Tries to stay afloat,
Whispering low,
The sound of one’s own voice,
Cacophonous

Shaking hand,
Wrapped in time,
No cream on top,
It’s all too much,
And not enough,

Lost boy in the kitchen,
Fiddles with fingers,
Vacillates,
Imperceptibly vibrating,
Spinning,
Driving,
Standing still,
Chemically car crashed
