i often smile taking random photos of images i can see, i love this.. would remind me of my travels through London where everybody looks down to avoid possible eye contact. as a Yorkshireman, i say good morning, pass a smile and occasionally chat to a random stranger. i would indeed quite happily give you a nod in passing. London is different though. i feel a little soul destroyed, i spent two days trying to make more than a handful of people smile back at me…. i can back up to Yorkshire a little bit battered and deflated wondering where will it go for our children if adults cannot openly communicate….. i bet shoes say hello to each other though….. they have no prejudices to worry about…..
