VODKA GURU & THE SQUIRREL::
Whilst, in ’78, punk was still havin’ it, the guru had
up-scaled through the sale of unfashionable records to
the large country pile, with oak filled parkland that we
now found him residing in on the Welsh boarder.
Offa’s Dyke formed part of his grounds & we laughed out loud
turning up the long curving drive that lead up to the big house,
having never known someone so rich who would answer the phone
to us.
“That god-awful Punk has put music back twenty years!”
He moaned, drinking Vodka from a cut glass goblet & taking
pot-shots at the squirrels in his oaks as we pulled up
in Ross’s old Hillman Avenger & parked in the the courtyard
next to the stables.
The Guru was in today (or was he out?).

I’ve decided, I’m Officially Making You (KNew) an Honorary Member of the Beauty Club, as an Expert Cosmologist.
It’s kind’ve a funny Symbolic Play of Words:
a cosmologist is one WHO contemplates and studies the Universe and the Cosmos,
and a cosmetologist is a beautician or stylist.
So, a Cosmologist in The Beauty Club would be like a person
WHO Sees and Notices Universal Beauty, and has a Secret Way of working with all the little Magical and Mystical things just waiting to blossom around us…
…and WHO gets seriously turned-on by all that kinda stuff (as much as eye do).
There’s all these cool little things about you, that I notice and totally adore. I’ve secretly had a HUGE crush on you for a long time.
Sometimes I watch you and Rick and the extraordinary things you guys are creating and putting together at live shows,
and I stand hear completely in Awe, saying “Oh My God! You are just SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!” It’s SO POWERFUL!
And I Absolutely LOVE these experiences-I LIVE for these experiences as YOU LIVE in them, and I think it’s fantastic that you can affect me like this and have such a wondrous impact on me and my Life.
