SWIMMING IN NOISE:

Slow down, sit down, breath, look at nothing in particular.
Everything talks to you, the noise is deafening, you have
to switch it off, but you can’t. You have to turn it down
hunt distractions on the move – swimming like a shark.
Slow down, sit down, breath, can you feel it?

PERFECT:

Upstairs, in a room overlooking the street I heard a voice,
immortal, singing in a loop bringing some kind of hope in
stereo. I was dumbstruck, out of sight, bathed in unexpected
light from the other side of the mirror. That voice has no
problems, nor ever will, or age, celebrates perpetual euphoria,
eternally great – it’s on that record you bought, perfect forever.

IS THAT YOU?:

Hiding from the world between fragments of stolen conversation.
The lives of others, imagining you are somewhere else, some one
better with another name.

CRAWLING THE WALLS:

How do you feel, turning into wire again? Today, I hear your voice,
but I can’t hear what you’re saying. “go to your room!”
get on, have fun, enjoy, “go back to your room!”, and cross the
boarder. Enjoy tall buildings, we pass between. They shut out the
light, stifling the song of the sky.

AND THEN DID YOU?:

Find the thing you’d lost, in a place you’d totally forgot
putting in when you were rushing to do something else?
Was it in a place you’d looked, but just couldn’t see,
because you didn’t expect it there? And was the colour of
the place like the colour of the thing? Was it camouflaged
or did your eye edit it out of the picture, because it
couldn’t imagine it there? Do our eyes have a mind of their own,
carrying snap-shot memories of places, identi-kit images of
journeys? Do we navigate through our world this way, do we
see the details in the moment?

DID YOU EVER?:
Loose something you knew you couldn’t have lost, because
you never went anywhere to loose it? You were in doors all
day, now you’re running around in circles, trying to remember
when you had it in your hand last. Recalling a picture of it
in the last place you saw it and wondering,
“Did I put it in the oven and cook it by mistake?!”.

PAYLESS, WORKMORE, DELIVERSTUFF:

We are wrapped in timeless moments. We are traffic passing.
Scammed and slammed on the front page, Monday Morning.
Barracuda, don’t look at me like that! – out the corner of
your eye. I caught you watching, when you thought I wasn’t,
nothing here for you, swim on.
