TEETH IS NOT A LYRIC:
Get your teeth fixed,
They’re your friends

TEETH IS NOT A LYRIC:
Get your teeth fixed,
They’re your friends

LISTENING TO THE SOUND OF NOTHING:
I’m sat here in the dark with the lights on,
Listening to the sound of nothing,
It’s great
(K)

FLOODED TYRE TRACKS CROSS A FIELD:
Canals to take the slow-boat out of here,
A car crawls down a dirt track in the distance,
A face inside smiles and waves,
It’s good day
(K)

YOUR HAIR BLOWN BY THE WIND:
Silver party balloons impale themselves on thorn bushes,
Biblical,
Silver cans tossed from cars,
Abandoned,
Two cyclists wish me ‘Good Morning’,
Passing,
One Pink,
One Orange,
Fluorescent

WHO I AM TODAY?:
I’m stood at the edge of a field,
Fresh,
Brown,
The tips of crops,
Tiny knives,
Sticking out,
If I stand here long enough I’ll get a tan,
What does that mean in the 21st Century?

THERE’S A MAN ON A BIKE UNDER MY FAVOURITE TREE:
It’s Winter,
But it feels like Spring,
The things you said last night run around like chickens,
You meant well
(K)

THE NEW NORMAL:
Young men ride electric scooters standing up,
Fast down pavements,
Everybody just steps aside
(K)

THOUGH IT’S NOT EVEN SPRING:
A woman falls asleep on a train,
A man kills time when he gets it on it’s own,
A young woman with an alabaster face wraps herself in a fake leopard,
Holding the hand of a boy like a stick looking lost,
Up aboveground the sun is shining,
Trying to be Summer
(K)

I SEE A LAUGHING COUPLE (LOOKING A LITTLE INSANE):
In a photograph,
I see an embroidered bird on the breast of a man,
Loosing his hair,
Three embroidered birds on another man’s back,
Whose hair turns Silver,
Another man walks with a battleship embroidered on his head,
Wrestling a heavy Pink bag,
With a fat Silver watch,
A woman walks underground,
A young man strokes his own hair,
Listening to sounds no one can hear
(K)

AFTER WE HAVE GONE WILL THEY STILL BE DANCING?:
This travelling box we’re in,
All the people we remember we forgot,
Send each one a message,
Suck a mint to freshen your breath,
It’s a courtesy,
Stops people flinching when you speak,
Watch out for the cracks,
They start at the back,
Call ahead,
Say your name,
Tell the voice on the other end you’re sorry,
Use the time,
Don’t kill it
