SUMMER’S HIBERNATION:
Now I’m sitting in an empty room,
It’s quiet,
And birdsong,
And sunrise,
And a Black & White picture of hairy cows,
A mist on rolling hills,
And silence

MOM & DAD:
Now I’m in a strange house,
I’ve been driving for hours,
It’s my birthday,
Hooray!
I got in late last night,
Driven through the rain in a Silver car,
By an eternally smiling man,
Who offered me water,
And temperature change,
I gave him a tip when he got me home safe,
It was a good night,
But I was falling to bits
(K)

FIFTEEN WIRES:
There is a mouth talking fast,
Making a noise that sounds like words,
If I bother to listen,
They make some kind of sense,
But I’m not interested enough,
Random words fall out of the mouth,
Like,
Gypsy,
Chocolate,
And Oh my god!
(K)

PATH TO THE SKY:
What’s your room like?
It’s a castle,
If you like nature you’ll love it
(K)

WHOSE FEET WERE DIPPED IN STARS:
Keep your knees closed,
And count your toes,
Not everybody can be famous,
It’s not what you imagine,
What do you imagine?
(K)

HOT TIMES:
Me and the vegetables
(K)

THE MILK COMES TO MEET YOU:
Last night,
Drinking fizzy water,
Under electric stars
(K)

MILK CHURN:
Today I’m a stick,
Floating in a puddle of dirty water,
You’re getting warmer,
Crackling through the hole in your jeans
(K)

GLASS SMOKE MANGLE:
That’s no way to start a song!
That’ll never be a hit,
you’re useless!
I’m great,
Look at the size of everything!
(K)

ARE YOU GREAT?:
Just scratching the surface
