BAG OF STARS IMPALED:

A stick,
A leaf,
A shine,
A light,
A room that empties of it’s people,
People going somewhere,
People going nowhere,
I’ve got to stop rhyming,

BIN, TREE & LAMP VISIT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD:

Three people,
One table,
Silence,
A belt of beads,
A lost item of clothing, An awkward intervention,
A woman’s name,
As sunlight sets the room alight

INK HEART:

The Muffin Man climbs up onto the tiny stage,
And starts dancing to the sound of a small wining child,
The dog smells the cake,
Stands up on his hind legs,
Paws on the edge of the stage,
And stares longingly,
The man stops dancing,
Glares,
And points a boney finger at the dog,
Forgetting who’s the master here

SUSTAINABLE CORNERS:

The Muffin Man returns to his body,
With a souvenir from the place he disappeared to,
A small cake wrapped in paper

ILLUMINATED:

The tiny bear transforms it’s self into a 1950’s rock n roll star,
Shaking & vibrating across a tiny stage made from tables,
Lined up along the road outside,
Where yellow lines snake to guide motorists through town,
They smile,
And wave,
And honk their horns as they drive past,
Their day brightened,
To witness such unexpected wonder,
The Muffin Man takes no notice,
Sits down,
Grey,
Knees tucked under the tiny stage,
Pulls something small from his pocket,
And disappears into it,
Leaving only the shape of a man behind,
The rock n roll star turns back in a dog,
Lies down at the feet of the shape of the man,
And watches over it until he returns

In walks the Muffin Man,
Fumbling for change,
Accompanied by a small dog disguised as a Bear

I am not the Dice Man,
I’m a Dog,
Reading messages carried on the wind,
Every day is a shining star,

I’m the Walker,
The Weaver,
Inverting rainbows,

I’m gluten free,
I contain no sesame seeds,
