ALMOST INVISIBLE PLASTIC BOTTLE:

All the Red chairs & the Black chairs are empty,
All the single me eat alone,
Rabbits in the headlights,
At the end of days,
Drenched in the sound of laughing couples,
Banging bottles,
Here comes another one,
Single hair shaved close above the ears,
A cruel stare for a cold night in town

COMFY CORNER:

Spent too much time,
Sent too many messages,
Lived too long in the virtual world,
Here I am,
Where am I?

STRAWBERRY STARS:

The man sees the boat sail off the edge of the world,
The boat sails into nothing,
And nothing is a blessing

PRAYING MANTIS:

I see a man in a boat,
I see a boat with no man,
The wind in it’s sails,
Moving away from civilisation,
Sixteen Red circles appear in the sky,
As the boat sails off the edge of the world

STREET POEM:

People in this little town are changing,
Transforming,
Mutating into stuff you don’t see around here,
Creatures & things from the pages of picture books,
Gazelle,
Snakes,
Feathers,
Sleek Black machines,
Dancing to a playlist,
Carried on a chill wind from the South

PAINTED EYE:

A man appears,
With snakes & roses painted on his arms,
His arms are crossed as he walks around,
Looks around in a tiny tweed cap,
A strip up the middle,
Waiting for something hot to happen

THE ORIGIN OF LOW:

Messages are sent,
But not received,
A man walks in dressed as a traffic cone,
Takes up a position in the middle of the room,
And smiles,
But nobody notices,
Feet dance slow around the room in Black & White,
Preoccupied with their own silent music

CARDBOARD MESSENGER:

A woman stumbles into the room clutching a Pink diamond purse,
Where she hides her truth,
Leaning heavily on a table,
She slides onto a chair,
A boy appears in front of her,
With a radiant smile,
And starts clearing away the wreckage around her,
In a shirt called,
‘Rebel Youth’

The dog in the tartan overcoat whispers to his man,
There’s something out of sync,
He’s either the wrong man or the dog is nursing him,
Back to health,
Taking him on a journey,
Away from the darkside,
A poet with a conscience

The dog is a poet,
Random words escape from the mouth of his human,
As a man appears,
Dressed as an exclamation mark,
Looking distressed,
He stands hunched & shaking,
Looks around,
A finger points to a tiny room,
Where he enters,
And disappears
