Monday 23rd July

JUST FEELING:

Woke up shaking with that familiar splintered thinking,
head skittering in directions on the scent of anything to
latch onto,feeling sick. It’s a straight forward re-boot,
a re-wire, loop around the fried connections, slip in that
sweet knee jerk & let the light in. This is just the stuff
you gave me, learned from 16 years of keeping it straight
with an un-bottle gene between the ears. Read T.S Eliot –
‘Little Gidding’, breathing clean green air, fresh,
un-filtered. Get quiet, reach out & let the feet do the rest.
Listening to:
Hakon Stene – ‘Lush Laments for Lazy Mammal’ soothes the mood.

  1. Bring in the never-ending sense.
Thank you for the poem! It gave some meaning to one of my photos.
In fact, it was 10°C here today. Kinda freezing cold 😦

    …There is no earth smell
Or smell of living thing. This is the spring time
But not in time’s covenant. Now the hedgerow
Is blanched for an hour with transitory blossom
Of snow, a bloom more sudden
Than that of summer, neither budding nor fading,
Not in the scheme of generation.
Where is the summer, the unimaginable Zero summer?…

    …and no, I´m not a midget 🙂

  2. For a minute I lost a month, and nearly missed my birthday. What a shame at such a great time of the summer! Long live June
