  1. Carl´s contributions was central to the discovery of the high surface temperatures of Venus.
    However, he is best known for his contributions to the scientific research of extraterrestrial life and he assembled the first physical messages that were sent into space: the Pioneer plaque and the Voyager Golden Record, universal messages that could potentially be understood by any extraterrestrial intelligence that might find them.

    If I would ever start a band it would be called Pioneer Plaque and our record label would be called the Voyager Golden Record 🙂

    Brian Eno is really awesome Carl. I did not know he was so deeply involved in U2 until until the iTunes force 🙂

    The drummer is not as good as Larry Mullen Jr so to speak, or he is just teasing 🙂
