SLEEPING IN THE RAIN:

Drove for and hour & a half to cover a forty minute journey.
Rush hour rain will do that to rolling metal. Had an emotional
meeting, left on a high, got wet walking, found a cafe for the
sacred porridge & acquired some peace & quiet between the ears.
The journey home took forty minutes as expected. Parked up
listening to the rain on the roof & could’ve fallen asleep
right there & then were it not for the need to be somewhere else
rehearsing for Madrid. The voice felt like it had been stored
in sawdust for months, but we got through without stopping.
