Give me heat!

How do you write words anyway?
How do you eat?
What’s all this about?

Sleep,
By the spoonful,
Delicate fingers wiping eyes,
Fake halo in a glass world,
What’s happening?

Voice,
Loud,
Sat in a corner,
Calling names,
Points a finger,
Pink tie & suit,
Gell in the hair,
Spike from another life,

Wistful,
Bag of flowers,
Slung across a shoulder,
Waits for something good,
Message,
Slipped under a door,

Breeze,
It was cold last night,
At 2am,
Not looking for stars,
But found them
