MANCHESTER STREET POEM:
Two days up North,
Meetings with the Manchester Street Poem crew,
Once a month we gather,
To feed the web site,
And generate new projects,
Around delivering the stories,
Of fellow citizens,
Who have experienced,
And who are still experiencing,
The effects of homelessness,
Their journeys,
And circumstances,
Their Experience,
Strength,
And hope

Such an important project. I work for a food bank and we see the effects of homelessness and housing issues every day. Keep going!
Feed the hungry and house the homeless.
I’m that person that avoids the eye contact. That ignores as I walk past.
I will change.
Somewhere to live, food and someone to talk to. The three things I couldn’t cope without.
