AFTER THE FLOOD:

The taxi driver turned the radio up when the news came on,
There were five items on the news,
Three killings,
A closure of a factory with the loss of a lot’ve jobs,
And sport,
Then a sixth item,
Slightly humorous,
But sneering at another countries political leader,
The place we just flew from seemed much happier,
That’s the luxury of being a tourist
