Sunday 19th September

DIRTY WEEKEND:

There’s a laughing mouth,
There’s an expectant look in the eye,
There’s a peace sign that doesn’t mean anything,
There’s a tiny pony on the back of your head,
There’s the sun coming up at last,
There’s a river like a snake,
There’s water where there used to be land,
There’s terracotta roofs,
There’s drowning fields,
There’s parallel lines in the earth,
There’s a day beginning,
And another ending,
There’s a tone of words when one would work
