PAASPOP FESTIVAL:
I see a man with the face of a cartoon cat painted on the back of
his black jacket, tip-toe through puddles before breakfast.
I watch a man clean his teeth in a field, spit with a serious
dedication between the bins. Piles of yesterday, discarded.
A chiselled face launches into the day behind Velvet shades,
knuckles clutching paper coffee, groovin’ in twos through mud
in skinny jeans.
