SENDING AN ELEPHANT HOME:
Awake ’till 4am, working on the book, following a groove without
distraction. Resumed at 8am, through to 14:00, luxuriating in the
sensation of another elephant slipping off my back attaching it to
a mail to my editor & pressing ‘send’ – Essex look more beautiful.

Nice to work when half the world’s asleep. There’s a deep sense of calm in the air. I love the early hours it’s my favourite time to meditate. Watch out for the lack of sleep though.
