The builders are in, today it’s plumbers my need for order gone, adapting to living in chaos (something I thought I had left behind). Nails out, gripping on for dear life. My cats have got the right idea hiding under my bed. Gotta laugh at the absurdity of it all. My head feels splintered with the dissonant noise.

Karl, Karen, hope you both feel better. I’m not always able to check in every day but oh, do I hear you about living in chaos, Karen! I’ve decided that it’s time to bribe friends with weekend brunch in exchange for some encouragement while I clean and unpack – good company and it will help get me back on track. Good luck and pet the cats for me.
No wonder I had fantasies of an amoeba 🙂
